Sharon has an avid interest in all things financial - from the smallest decisions constituting money behaviors to professional money management. She started early, with $10 in a bank savings account in her own name when she was three weeks old.

As Vice President at a multi-national financial services company, Sharon sold securities to institutional money managers for twelve years. She was registered with the NASD and CFTC as a stock, bond, futures, and options broker. Working for a Big 5 firm, she consulted to top tier banks and mutual fund companies from London to L.A. She teaches financial literacy both to residents of Chicago's projects and Chicago's Gold Coast.

Sharon earned an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and has a BA from Calvin College in secondary education with concentrations in general science, math, and piano performance.

Sharon has been featured on the CNBC show "Squawk Box" with reporter David Faber. She has also appeared in live interview on LeSea Broadcasting, WGN News at Nine, TLN's "Aspiring Women$quot;, and "Among Friends", WMBI's "Midday Connection"e; and more national and local television and radio programming.
